I have been looking forward to this day for weeks, and now that it is here, I have to admit I am feeling a bit anxious. I have enjoyed a highly successful career as a manager and leader specializing in training and education. I have worked as a corporate training manager for some very large companies and I have been engaged at an executive level in a few commercial training companies. I have created presentations, written white papers, posted web articles, written instruction manuals, and even a technical manual, but this is my first experience writing an article that is being presented to the world as a personal work with my name on it. Without the veil of corporate anonymity I feel a little exposed.
I am, however, excited to present Leadership Courseware’s inaugural blog article. As written on our About Our Blog page, we have over 200 years of management and leadership experience within our ranks and we are all looking forward to sharing some of our lessons with others so that we may all improve through the process of sharing.
It is our intent to publish an article every week. We have a number of people on staff and within the ranks of our authors who will be regular contributors. We will also be inviting experts within the leadership and management community to share their experiences and thoughts with us through guest articles which we hope will be of further interest to our readers.
It is my goal that every article we publish has something of value for those in the management and leadership ranks. It is my hope that you will share your thoughts and opinions of the articles we publish so that the value of our blog will continuously improve.
